My first Norwegian Forest cat and the queen of the household since her arrival one morning in April of 2002. She conquered us all with her elegance and serenity. She never looses her dignity except when she is on call and rolls all over the house. Gataca is a medium sized queen, she weighs 5 kilos at present, and has lovely quality fur, soft fine and easy to keep nice. Her head is well proportioned with an outstanding profile. With several litters she has proved that she is not only a “Fairy Tale princess” as her breeders from La Zarina used to describe her but also a first class mother, quiet and watchful. In January 2004 Gataca became European Champion thus finishing her "Show Career" and as I had promised her she no longer has to worry about shows.

Infanta is my little made to order princess. She is my present from Gataca because I wanted to keep a little female from the special mating with Rey de la Gulsica. I had already chosen her name before she was born. On the 15th of May 2003 I was present at her birth, three of her brothers had already arrived and they looked like toasted biscuits. The first I saw of Infanta was her nearly black tail with a white tip and I knew it was her, there was a female in the litter! She weighed 88 grams at birth and was followed by her big brother Igor. So there were 5, Infanta and her 4 brothers. She is a beauty, lovely triangular shaped head, straight profile, soft and abundant fur. She carries her tail high and with a flair just like her cattery name because she knows she is from the first litter and her daddy is Rey which means king. Time has flown and Infanta and I form a closely knit team to look after her babies.

She represents our L litter, a lovely dark girl, she is full sister to Kit Kat and we still have her brother Kubilai Khan whom she resembles. I particularly like her size, strong build and wild penetrating look. She has a coat that takes care of itself winter and summer, fur always shiny. Unfortunately Love has inherited Infanta´s strong dominating character and they clash so I keep them apart, thanks to mother and daughter we have two groups of females at the moment. Perhaps a first litter of kittens soon will mellow her.

This little lady is the representative of Infanta´s litter of 9 born on 10th July 2004. She weighed only 65 grams at birth and she and her litter mates needed a lot of attention. Quiet and gentle as a kitten now she is funny to see when she gets bossy, even as the smallest adult female everyone gets out of her way. After producing our fantastic O litter (a mating to be repeated) my sweet little Kitty gets full marks as a breeding queen and my admiration as well as special affection.

Velvet is the youngest of the mothers. She was born in Portugal, her breeders are our friends Mira and Filipe. They brought her to us after the show in Elvas in October 2004. She is a good size and has lovely quality fur. We are delighted with her personality, very affectionate and purrs the moment you set eyes on her. She has formed a beneficial bond with Infanta ever since they shared the rearing of their 11 kittens (M & N litters) Velvet has the patience of a saint and is a devoted mother. Her ancestors, mainly Portuguese on her mother´s side and Swedish on her father´s lend variety to our breeding programme.

Kermesse is another kitten from La Zarina, the third to date, who has just joined our feline family (October 2005) She is an exceptional golden colour which combined with her spotted pattern is most striking. We are delighted with her and once again wish to thank Carmen and Maribel for this lovely little girl who seems to be in a hurry to reach fame with a nomination at her second show.

Over a year ago, in autumn 2004, I was so happy to discover that a daughter of EC Hass Pongo had come to live in Spain at Tierra Media. DK*Anfi´s Ursula Buffay was still a kitten when I booked a little female from her future first litter. At the end of August (25.08.05) the kittens arrived and out of an exceptional litter of 5 little Goldberry stole my heart from the first moment. It´s amusing because she is a faithful copy of her father Durin Tierra Media. I would say that she is the ideal combination of the qualities of both her parents and it seems that she will take after her father in size too. She is well mannered, affectionate and very well balanced. It´s fun to have a blotched tabby for a change, our first. Many thanks Susana and Joaquin for this sweetie that we like so very much.

Penny Lane La Peyre
Penny is home again, since October 2007. She is back
with us where she belongs. This silver in superlative
girl is already an international champion and in this
case I will choose sentences that the three judges who
awarded her the three CACs in order to describe her and
give her due credit: «lovely alert look», «excellent
proportions» and «triangular head, straight profile».
Welcome home our little one.

Quiteria La Peyre
Quiteria is a younf female born out of the same
mating that produced Oketee in 2006, the previous year.
I chose her amongst her four sisters because of her
happy and daring attitude to life. I am counting on
her to be as good breeding queen as her mother Kit Kat.

S*Vidjhärtas Minnie Moose
An important plan for the cattery in 2008 was to
increase the family with the addition of a nice Swedish
import and it has happily materialized with the arrival
of a young female with green eyes named Vildhjartas
Minnie Moose born 15th October 2007. Minnie is blue
silver tabby blotched, she has a very good coat and
prospects of it becoming even better. She is strong
boned, quite classical in many ways and should
complement our present males beautifully. In fact they
all want to be the first and I can´t use the usual
excuse "No, sorry she is a very close relative" so we´ll
wait and see who the candidate is. Minnie has adjusted
very quickly and easily and we really enjoy her company.
Thanks again Malin and Marie for this darling girl, you
can be very proud of her.

P*Educat's Papaya
Feline generations go so quickly, Educat´s Papaya
has come to live with us at the age of nearly 4 months
(she was born 1st April, 2008) and it seems like it
was only yesterday that I welcomed her grandfather
Lennon La Peyre into this world. Maria Eduarda has
chosen the perfect kitten for us. Papaya is daring,
full of curiosity and my liking for red cats with
raccoon masks is well known. Thank you Maria Eduarda
for this ray of sunshine with the name of a tropical
fruit. She is very special and for me it was love at
first sight.
